One of the leaders in the field of ancient DNA, Alan works between the fields of earth sciences, evolutionary genetics, archaeology and medical sciences.
Research interets: ancient DNA, environmental genomics, forensics, extinctions, population genetics, climate change, conservation biology, human evolution, and megafunal ecosystems.
