SAVE THE DATE | Tuesday 18th September 2012

SECONDARY STUDENTS will have the opportunity to interact with inspiring social entrepreneurs and professionals who are making a positive difference on social change. Activities will provide students with a basic understanding of how these social enterprises are run and how they can make a difference.

PRIMARY STUDENTS will learn about the fundamental concepts of what it takes to run a social enterprise by interacting with a charity group and making a related product. The primary students will also learn how to market and sell their product.

WRED 2012 Competition

HUNGER IS AN ISSUE that not only occurs in third world countries but also exists in our immediate local community. In working together with schools in Western Adelaide, this project aims to raise not only non-perishable food that will be donated to Foodbank SA but also raises awareness about the issue of hunger.

You CAN make a Difference! Secondary and primary students in the western suburbs of Adelaide are challenged to plan, organise and coordinate their own Can Drive while raising awareness about the issues of hunger. [More Info]
