Budget & Management Reporting
The Budget & Management Reporting team is reponsible for:
- Preparation and oversight of the annual budget of the University.
- Allocation of the HEFA funds in accordance with budget directives, student fee-paying distribution.
- Maintenance of policy and procedure manuals applicable to budget processes, fixed assets, etc.

Salary Management Model (SMM)
The Salary Management Model (SMM) is a COGNOS TM1 software based application that was designed to be an enterprise wide forecasting and planning tool for salaries management across the University of Adelaide. The SMM provides a "starting point" of employee master data from within PeopleSoft HR to model and manage Faculty/Division salary budgets and forecasts.
Access to the tool is currently restricted to Finance Managers. If you have any questions in relation to gaining access to SMM, please speak with your Finance Manager or Chris Soteriou.
The SMM User Guide has been produced to assist you with any queries you may have. The guide also includes contact details for business and technical support.
