Staff Learning and Development Programs

The Organisational Development team offers staff at the University of Adelaide a range of personal and professional development programs. 

The Staff Learning and Development program curriculum focuses on three themes:

  1. Leading at Adelaide developing leadership capability
  2. Managing at Adelaide developing the skills to effectively manage others (under development)
  3. Excelling at Adelaide building knowledge of the University's culture and developing skills to enhance individual performance.

The following programs are currently available to support your development.  Attendance at programs should be linked to your PDR. Please discuss programs with your manager or supervisor prior to enrolling, and ensure you are aware of the cancellation policy. Enrolments are made through the Course Booking System.

Impact Leadership

Impact Leadership supports front line Leaders who work directly with Professional, Research and Teaching staff to embrace the challenges of leadership whilst focusing on how to get the best out of their team.This program is run over 9 full day workshops throughout the year. The Vice-Chancellor and President's Welcome to Adelaide event provides an opportunity for new staff to hear from the University's senior leaders and learn more about the University of Adelaide.
