Guidelines
Inside Adelaide is being continually improved to make it easy to read with relevant content. The site is best viewed using Internet Explorer (IE.7) which is the standard University web browser.
Inside Adelaide is sent to an automatically generated list of staff with email addresses supplied by the University in the @adelaide.edu.au domain. There is no unsubscribe facility.
In preparing your Inside Adelaide material, please follow these
guidelines:
Material to be 2-3 short sentences (one paragraph) and may be edited to fit this
requirement. About 100 words max. per item is recommended. Longer notices may
appear if necessary and important to all staff. Please remember to specify a suggested
section for entry of your material - the sections are: General Information for
Staff, Events, Training & Development Opportunities and Information for Researchers.
Material should be linked wherever possible to web sites or PDF files. Event items
should be linked to details that should be in the University
Events web site. Event titles should come with the date & time, venue,
speakers (if applicable), contact person and brief description one sentence long.
Notices will be allowed one repeat appearance and will then be deleted. Repeat
notices will only be included if there is space available in the next issue of
Inside Adelaide.
Notices should be authorised by your Head of School, Branch Head or equivalent
manager before submission to Inside Adelaide. Approval for inclusion is at the
discretion of the Division of Services & Resources.
