Steven Conte: Plodding - walking into fiction
The Friends of the University of Adelaide Library invite you to a free author event with Steven Conte on Thursday 28 May 2009 at 6.00 for 6.30pm.
Venue: Ira Raymond Exhibition Room, Barr Smith Library, University of Adelaide

Steven Conte was the inaugural winner of the Australian Prime Minister's Literary Award for Fiction last year with his debut novel, The Zookeeper's War. A story of passion and sacrifice, Conte's novel tells of an Australian woman and her German husband who maintain a zoo in Berlin during the final months of World War II. In a city battered by war, tensions mount: nothing, and no one, it seems, can be trusted.
