MyMedia: Managing Lecture Recording
The MyMedia system has been developed by the University to provide a capability to record and make available lecture content. It is comprised of two integrated applications.
- MyMedia Capture Application is used to capture recorded lecture content in Common Teaching Areas (Lecture Theatres and Tutorial Rooms) using audio visual equipment.
- MyMedia Web Application is used to manage the recorded content.

The specialised MyMedia Capture Application allows academics to record lectures in real time, in order for them to be accessed by students at their convenience. The application can only be accessed from personal computers in Common Teaching Areas which have it installed, and a shortcut can be found on the desktop. The MyMedia Capture Application will prompt for information about the session to be recorded including the presenter, the course, venue, date and time. |

Access All staff with a current University login and password can access the MyMedia Capture and Web Applications. The MyMedia Capture Application can only be accessed from personal computers in Common Teaching Areas (Lecture Theatres and Tutorial Rooms). A shortcut can be found on the desktop. |
