ARC Linkage Projects 2011 (Round 1)
Linkage - Projects aims to foster alliances between higher education institutions and external organisations. A specific objective of this programme is to provide opportunities for Postdoctoral and Postgraduate researchers to pursue high quality research collaboration with external organisations.
Anticipated dates for the submission of Linkage Projects (LP11, Round 1) are as follows:
- Proposals Open: Mar 2010
- Funding Rules: Feb 2010
- Eligibility Exemption Requests Due: Apr 2010
- Proposals Close: May 2010
- Funding Outcome Announcements: Oct 2010
Research Management System (RMS)
You will also be required to locally submit your application on the ARC's Research Management System (RMS) when you submit your hard copies to the Research Branch. To log onto RMS please go to: https://rms.arc.gov.au/
RMS Login Page
Users with existing GAMS IDs simply need to click on the “Reset Password” link, enter your current GAMS ID (case sensitive) and click on “Request”. You should then be sent an e-mail from the RMS system allowing you to reset your password.
You can retrieve your username by clicking on “Retrieve User Name”. New users without a GAMS or RMS Username will need to click on the “Request New Account” and complete the mandatory fields. RMS has a context-sensitive HELP link at the top of each webpage to assist applicant.

PDF Documents
RMS requires a number of documents to be uploaded in pdf format. The PDF AdLib Relay converter software allows you to submit a file via the web, which is then converted into PDF format and e-mailed back to you.
