Australian-European Union Health Research Collaboration

The NHMRC has a limited fund to assist Australian participation in projects selected for funding under the European Commission's Sixth Framework programme. In the call for proposals, the health and medical research areas of interest to the NHMRC are genomics and biotechnology for health.  Where projects involving Australian researchers based in Australia are chosen for funding, the Australian researchers may be eligible for NHMRC support.

Applications internal close: within 2 weeks of the closing date of the EU deadline

Applicants must submit their applications via RGMS at https://www.rgms.nhmrc.gov.au. 

Please note
There has been a delay with the opening of this application round within RGMS.   Therefore, the NHMRC closing date of within two weeks of the EC call closing date will not apply to applications with deadlines in January and February 2011.
