Professor Crowther is a maternal fetal medicine subspecialist with interests in research synthesis, randomised trials, indigenous maternal and perinatal health, international maternity and child health and tranlsational research. Professor Crowther has been involved in many studies that focus on areas such as therapies to improve outcomes following preterm birth, prevention of hypertensive disease, improved health outcome in multiple pregnancy, birth after caesarean, obesity in pregnancy and gestational diabetes. The clinical trials conducted by Professor Crowther and her team have led to the translation of the research into clinical practice guidelines, improving maternal and perinatal health worldwide. |
