The Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship

The Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarships 2012 are awarded to outstanding candidates admitted into one of the following Programs offered at Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Centre:

• Bachelor of Computer Science
• Bachelor of Commerce (inclusive of all specialisation tracks)
• Bachelor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship
• Bachelor of Nursing (Post-Registration)

Eligibility

• Applicants who have completed their diplomas from approved institutions
• Have been admitted into the programs listed above
• Good conduct with academic and /or professional supervisors' references
• Outstanding academic results
• Financial position

Value of Award

The total value of the award is S$5000.

The number of scholarships awarded for the Program each year will be the sole discretion of Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Holdings.

This is a bond-free scholarship.

Period of Award

Each  award is tenable for the whole program period. Scholarship holders are required to pass every course for Scholarship payments to be maintained.

Application Documents

Applicants are required to complete the application form with 1 passport size photo and enclosing one non-returnable copy of the following documents, in the following order (incomplete application will not be processed): -

• A photocopy of National Registration Identity Card (both sides)
• Proof of admission to the program
• Polytechnic results for all terms or semesters. (With Cumulative Average Point or Grade Point Average)
• Testimonials, Co-curricular activities record, proof of Awards received, etc
• Please submit details of applicant’s household income e.g. latest income tax statement

Others

• Successful applicant can receive only one award within the same academic year from Ngee Ann Education Holdings or other organisation.
• The awards of scholarship will be withdrawn if it is found that the information given in the application form is found to be untrue or inaccurate
• More than one application may be submitted from members of one family but only one award may be given per family
• The decision of the Ngee Ann Education Holdings Scholarship Committee will be final

Date of Application

All applications are to be submitted to Ngee Ann – Adelaide Education Centre personally during office hours. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Selection Procedures

• Shortlisted candidates shall be notified for interviews
• The Panel’s decision is final

These rules and regulations have been approved by the Directors of Ngee Ann Education Holdings, who reserves the right to make any amendments when necessary.
