The new Engineering, Mathematical and Computer Sciences building is here.

Take a tour of Innova21

Innova21

Leading the University's facilities 'boom' is the new $100 million Engineering, Mathematical and Computer Sciences building, Innova21, which provides world-class facilities to support the strong growth in this faculty.

The nine level building is the largest construction project in the University's extensive development program and enables students to utilise teaching and research resources that are among the best of their kind anywhere in the world.

Innova21 is located on the lower level of the University's North Terrace Campus providing more than 11,000 square metres of space over nine stories and includes purpose-built teaching, learning, research and other student and staff facilities.

The building has been designed to enable it to be used as a teaching tool with innovative features such as high environmental sustainability and building performance monitoring equipment.

The building has significant Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) aspirations and has achieved South Australia's first six star Green Star rating for an education building from the Green Building Council of Australia.

The building opened in mid 2010.
