What's Next?

I've registered, so now what happens now?

Within a few days of submitting your registration, you'll receive an email of acknowledgement.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an email with the times and venue for SmoothStart Day, where you'll meet your mentor and other SmoothStart students.

Your mentor will be in regular contact with you after meeting to answer questions, share their own experiences of being a first year student and share important tips that may not be written in formal university material. They'll also be able to help you work out who to speak to if you need advice about your studies or other issues.

They will invite you to SmoothStart social activities happening throughout the semester and will remind you of any relevant academic and life skills programs (i.e. UniStep) to help your uni career take off.
