Networks

If you are a first year undergraduate student in a degree program within the School of Computer Science you can register for the Networks Peer Networking Program. Download the brochure for the full details! The program is a Semester 1, Term 1 program.

Experienced Computer Science students (peer mentors) will be introduced to students at the enrolment day and again at the preliminary lecture and initial Network function.

Networks will:

  • Introduce you to experienced Computer Science students (peer mentors) at the enrolment day and again at the preliminary lecture and initial Network function
  • Allow you to register for an allocated peer mentor who will keep in email contact throughout the first term of the first semester to remind you of relevant activities and answer any questions that arise.
  • Share with you mentor experiences and helpful tips from a student's perspective
  • Introduce you to key academic staff who can assist you during your first year at uni
