Blogs @ Adelaide

A blog - originally short for "web log" - is a frequent, chronological, on-line publication. Entries, or posts, commentary, description, news and updates, including text, images, video and audio.

For a blog to be useful posts should be made at least once per week.

We can provide an RSS feed for people to use with an RSS reader or aggregator. Also RSS can be embedded within a website to provide a summarised news view.

The University provides blogs for professional use, to provide RSS feeds to our webpages and for announcements.

Process for Getting a University Blog

If you would like to have a University blog, for professional use or to provide a RSS feed to a University webpage, please contact Online Media by filling out a web request form. Please specify the request type as "Blog Support" and provide details of your area and the purpose of your blog.

A staff member from the Online Media team will then contact you to discuss your requirements.
